Ram Navami closes Chaitra Navratri. It is marked with a path, kirtan, and in many houses a small cradle, and it is the day the nine-day spring fast breaks.
The temples in the Netherlands hold it. At home it is a modest festival — the panakam and kosambari matter more than any decoration.
