Akshaya Tritiya in the Netherlands

Akshaya Tritiya is treated as auspicious throughout — the whole day is considered a muhurat, which is why weddings, house purchases and new businesses are dated to it without further calculation. Buying gold is the custom most people keep.
For families here it tends to be the day a griha pravesh or a naming ceremony gets scheduled, because it needs no astrologer to approve it.
